I started cutting the floor plans out of the Sunday paper and buying floor plan books in High School. I loved Open Houses and the Parade of Homes. I loved looking at homes! One day my husband asked why I didn’t just sell Real Estate, and to be honest I had thought about it many times, but never made it happen. Long story short I went to school and never looked back. I love helping people find homes. I love to help them move up to their dream. I help them all the same regardless of price or reason. I can truly say the hardest I ever worked for a client was on a $94K condo. I love my profession!

I have been licensed in Utah as a real estate sales agent since 1998. That time expanse has enabled me to experience many market conditions and enjoy different aspects of the practice of real estate.

Buyers agent

I have enjoyed representing buyers. Helping the buyers navigate the lending process with reputable lenders, selecting a house that meets the buyers needs and desires, negotiating the purchase of their ideal house, signing the mass of documents to finalize the purchase, with a reputable title agency. The ultimate reward is watching the buyers convert the ideal house into their home.

Seller agent

I have enjoyed representing sellers. Helping the sellers to display their home in the best light to prospective buyers, highlighting the best possible features. Exposing the home to both my buyers and the buyers of other agents in the area. Negotiating the best possible terms for the seller. Closing the transaction and watching the sellers embark on the next phase of their lives.

Distressed Property

I have also participated in the distressed property markets helping sellers in distress minimize the adverse effects and repercussions from their predicament and watching them move on to less stressful situations. I have also negotiated the purchase of distressed properties for clients some of whom converted the distressed property into homes for themselves and their families. Some of my buyer clients for distressed properties have also rehabilitated the distressed properties and resold them or used them as rentals, a basis to accumulate wealth in favored tax advantaged manners. I have received the designation of Short Sales Referral Specialist from the National Board of Realtors, SFR.

Commercial Properties

I represent both the lessor's and the lessee's of commercial space. Negotiating leases and watching tenant's thrive is personally rewarding and beneficial for the tenant's, the property owner and the community.

I also represent the property owners for the management of commercial space including tenant and building management.

Life experience

I grew up on working ranches is south western Wyoming where I learned a definition of hard work and long days.

I was educated in electronics in Idaho which resulted in employment in the Bay area for a government sponsored research facility. This employment also facilitated continued education resulting in a degree in Statistics. The time in the Bay area also resulted in my appreciation of the intermountain west and my first real estate experience. My wife and I purchased a home which we were able to resell at a considerable profit.

We chose to move to Utah as the place to create and raise a family, our most notable achievement.

I chose to become a full time Realtor after a career in medical equipment development and experience's as a small retail business owner.

I have been fortunate to have been able to experienced being a scoutmaster, a varsity scout advisor, and managing a volunteer tax preparation site under the direction of the IRS.

Howard Siegel has had an extensive career in the areas of Management, Training & Recruiting. He started his career in the US Air Force teaching Instrument Flying and Radio Navigation. He then went to work with IBM Corp. and among the positions he held there were recruiter, instructor and manager.

Upon his retirement from IBM, he decided to pursue real estate. Howard has been a sales agent, broker, recruiter and instructor. He has had a continuing education license in 17 states and has also been an adjunct instructor teaching pre-licensing school for Stringham Real Estate School. He currently teaches “Methods and Tools to Avoid Overpricing” a 3 hour CE course in Utah.

 Howard has been a broker since 1997 and has helped a number of real estate offices grow significantly. In 1995, as a sales agent, he was the “Rookie of the Year” for Wardley Corp. Better Homes and Gardens”.

 Howard is excited to be with Exit Realty Legacy as the Principal Broker and is looking forward to helping the agents with the company in the areas of training & recruiting and to help them increase their personal real estate production.

Jessica was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. Due to her enthusiasm for the outdoors- she has become very familiar with all that Utah has to offer. So whether you are moving in from out of state or just moving across town, Jessica can help you find the perfect location to suit your needs. 

Her professional background for the past 12 years has been in customer service and business management. She has spent the last several years as an Office Manager in a large Veterinary Clinic. This position allowed her to work with the public on a very personable level as well as with animals, which she has always had an affinity for. She enjoyed this position very much but is excited to start her new career as a Real Estate Agent. Jessica will do her best to ensure that buying or selling your home is as stress free for you as well as for your four legged companions. Her personal business motto has always been that you must treat each individual with compassion and you must share your knowledge with them. The more informative you are- the more empowered your clients will feel in making their decisions. Jessica will work hard to earn your trust.

A portion of each of Jessica' s commissions will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. An organization devoted to building safe and affordable homes for those in need. You can also see Jessica at the "Race For the Cure" every year. She goes to show her support for all of her family and friends that have battled Breast Cancer.

About me: Having worked in the medical field for 15 years as a Medical Technologist, I have developed a fine eye for detail.  This has also made me very tenacious.  I enjoy negotiating the best deal possible.  What this means for you is: I will see to it transactions go as smoothly as possible, and to keep the stress level as low as possible.

When we originally started in the real estate business, years ago, we were eager to try new things, but also explore our own way of thinking. What we have learned is the value of following routine, structure and the basic fundamentals, instead of only relying on all the " latest  trends ". It seems the more we can follow proven systems that have worked well for so many before us, the more we are able to branch off and add our own creative touches to it. Sandy & John
